Summer of Dubstep: Salacious Sounds DJ Cal

Here’s a new mix done by DJ Cal of Salacious Sounds. He goes on to mention that his summer has been full of dubstep and how he believes the genre will continue to slowly gain popularity.  You know my feelings on this are pretty straightforward.  Dubstep to house is like gangster rap to hip-hop.  While the movement slowly takes off, we will start to see more of a mediation between the two electronic genres.  Looking at the EDC Vegas lineup, I’d like to note the incorporation of a huge dubstep lineup every single day.  Mainstream DJs are not scared to pull this out at anytime during their sets.  It’s great to see that even with all the criticism it receives, dubstep prospers and is becoming one of our most prominent evolutionary sounds.

What an epic tracklist it is!
